Team 2: The ‘Quattro Formaggi’ Journey — Vienna, Genoa, Lake Como, Milan, Budapest
Our second team set off on August 26, led by Emília Ferenczi, to explore Europe.
Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 — The adventure began with an obstacle: the train didn’t stop at the right station! They made a clever jump and quickly changed trains. In Vienna, they visited St. Stephen’s Cathedral, cycled to Schönbrunn Castle, explored the House of the Sea aquarium, and admired the Hundertwasser House.
Genoa, Italy 🇮🇹 — The coastal city captivated them immediately. The old port “Porto Antico” with large yachts, narrow alleys toward the sea, and a beautiful sunset together. A perfect day in Genoa.
Lake Como & Milan, Italy 🇮🇹 — They traveled everywhere by train. Italian food was unparalleled — authentic pizza and tiramisu at last!
Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺 (Final Stop) — They visited Heroes’ Square, the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, the Parliament Building, and the City Park.
