Our third team, led by Kovács Izabella, organized their journey around architecture and technology themes.
Adventurous Start — Salzburg 🇦🇹 After a 16-hour train ride, their evening train was canceled! They had to leave almost immediately to catch the next train to Rome.
Rome, Italy 🇮🇹 (3 days) They admired the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, St Peter’s Square and Basilica, and the Spanish Steps.
Naples, Italy 🇮🇹 They experienced the bustling, chaotic side of Naples, explored the historic center, and discovered an underground early Christian burial site. The day ended at Castel Sant’Elmo fortress.
Florence & Pisa, Italy 🇮🇹 They explored the cradle of the Italian Renaissance and visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Modena & Maranello — Ferrari Museums 🇮🇹🏎️ The last day in Italy was dedicated to car enthusiasts: they saw old and new Ferrari models, Formula 1 cars, learned about Enzo Ferrari’s life, and even designed their own Ferrari.
Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 — Prater amusement park: go-karting, roller coaster, haunted castle.
Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺 — Escape room, city walk, movie screening.
