Team 5: Interethnic Relations — Salzburg, Dolomites, Rome, Venice, Vienna
Our fifth team explored interethnic relations across Italy and Austria.
Team 5: Interethnic Relations & Interculturality — Salzburg, Dolomites, Rome, Venice, Vienna
Our fifth team, led by Köllő Magor Örs, set off on September 3, 2024. The team consisted of two Romanian and three Hungarian-speaking young people — a fitting composition for their theme: interethnic relations and interculturality.
Salzburg & Bolzano 🇦🇹🇮🇹 — They visited Mozart’s birthplace Salzburg and Bolzano, learning about the autonomous rights of South Tyrol and the daily life of German speakers in Italy.
The Dolomites 🇮🇹🏔️ — Stunning Braies Lake and hiking the Drei Zinnen mountain group.
Milan & Rome 🇮🇹 — Milan’s Duomo built over 600 years. In Rome: dawn run, Pantheon, Colosseum, Spanish Steps at sunset, Tiber strolls, pizzas and tiramisù, beach swim.
Venice 🇮🇹 — 1,100 years of republicanism, Doge’s Palace, gondolas. They met up with Lilla’s Team 2 in the Venetian lagoons!
Vienna 🇦🇹 (Final Days) — Due to Cyclone Boris, they visited the Vienna Technical Museum and Schönbrunn Palace. Part of the team ended with climbing.
