SkillBoosters DiscoveringEU: New Frontiers — A New Chapter in European Discovery
Project Reference: 2024-2-RO01-KA155-YOU-000283149 — Funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme.
Building on the resounding success of the original SkillBoosters DiscoveringEU project, the Transylvanian Youth Center secured new funding from the European Union's Erasmus+ programme for a follow-up initiative: SkillBoosters DiscoveringEU: New Frontiers.
This new project continues the mission of empowering young people from the Gheorgheni area through European travel and discovery, while introducing fresh themes, new destinations, and an expanded vision.
What's New in "New Frontiers"
A new call for group leaders was launched, inviting experienced young people from the first project to take on leadership roles
New thematic journeys have been designed, including "Sustainable Agriculture" (planned for April 2026) and time-travel themed explorations
The project continues to target young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Gheorgheni area
New partnerships and destinations expand the geographic and cultural scope
